A few quirks with Edge
First of all the Chromium Edge needs to fix the [F6] operation. My version just updated from 80 to 81, but still when I press [F6] it highlights the page tab. A second press will move the focus to ...
The F6 bug also existed in Chrome/Chromium around the time when Edge was forked from it. Chrome quickly https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=927004, but Edge is still using the broken behaviour.
That's an explanation of why the bug exists. But I don't know whether the Edge team knows about it or have decided to not fix it.
