81.0.403.0 keeps crashing - suggestions?

I can't get Edge Canary 81.0.403.0 to start up. It opens briefly and then crashes. It stays open long enough to show the "Restore pages" message and then closes. Any suggestions please? Ken

if it didn't fix it, try reinstalling canary again (choose to delete user data during uninstall)

The 'aw-snap' page isn't relevant to my situation as the whole browser is crashing and I don't get any error messages.

I tried their suggestion of running Edge without renderer code integrity anyway, but it made no difference.

If I uninstall canary with delete user data what will happen with my Favorites? I don't want to loose them.

  If your sync is turned on, you shouldn't lose your favorites.

    I have no idea why, but it has come good again, and is working as expected.
