3rd Party Web Application won't run in Edge Beta
Having just returned from Ignite, I was excited to learn about the new Edge beta and installed it. We were told that every site would work at least in "internet explorer mode" but one of our 3rd party vendor web-apps does not. It is from BST Global (bstglobal.com/). I runs fine in Internet Explorer but does not load in the new Edge and I don't see any indication that it's trying to run in IE mode (or if that is something I need to force it to do). I'm pretty certain it uses Active X controls. Is there some process I can work through to try and get it to run correctly?

If the application relies on ActiveX controls, that is likely the reason it works in Internet Explorer but not in the new Edge browser. While Edge's Internet Explorer mode is designed to improve compatibility with legacy applications, some sites may require explicit configuration to run in IE mode. You can try adding the site to the IE mode site list or enabling IE mode through your organization's browser policies. It's also worth checking with BST Global to see whether they have an updated version of the application that supports modern browsers. If the application depends heavily on legacy Internet Explorer technologies, additional compatibility settings or vendor updates may be required for it to function correctly in Edge.

let me know if the GPO didn't worked properly - Hi,
