We're Listening!
I see that we're approaching the release of edge chromium stable.
For those of us that are in the beta channel (or canary for that matter) what should we expect?. Meaning, I understand that the stable version will install and replace edge in windows 10. Also, for myself, I didn't use edge or explorer, my default was Firefox. So I have everything (bookmarks, passwords, etc), first on canary and now on beta.
Also, we can uninstall beta version after the release of stable?.
Where can we save all the data so that we don't lose it: bookmarks, passwords, etc... and those of us that have two or more profiles.
I am at your service in case you need clarification.
Thanks.

Elliot may well have something else to say, but,...
That is news that we are close to "Stable". Personally, don't think that is the case. Many of us reckon Spring 2020 is likely for a non-beta version, a non-Insider Build.
Once Edge c replaces Edge, yes, the beta Channels can be removed. And, once then signed in to (new) Edge (& importing stuff if necessary) all that is YOU will be there. And that will hold true for each of YOUR Profiles.
Everything that is YOU should either be there or transition quite seamlessly once we are done with these beta Channels/preview Builds.

Thanks.Hi there,
- Yes, you can uninstall Beta whenever you want, now, later, after the stable version is released, anytime; because the new Edge browser comes in 4 different channels (Stable/Beta/Dev/Canary) and you can install all of them on one computer without any of them having conflicts with each other, they are separate programs.
- you won't be able to uninstall the stable version of Edge browser (based on Chromium) when it will be released and integrated into the Windows 10, because it will be an embedded program and will replace the current Edge classic.
You can Read all the information you need in this official article from Microsoft:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-sysupdate-windows-updates
- we are still so far from the stable version of Edge insider. there are fundamental features still missing and Sync options such as History and Extension are not implemented, open tabs syncing is still in controlled feature roll out.
- right now, you can export your bookmarks from Firefox to a HTML file and then import them into the Edge insider browser (Beta/Dev/Canary) using the option at the bottom of this page: edge://favorites/
- but for Importing passwords, address, saved forms etc, better wait until the Final version of Edge insider browser is released so that Mozilla will Officially add support for import/export of the new Edge browser to their Firefox browser and you will be able to do a proper Import.

When I say that we're near stable is because of this:
"But as discovered by TechDows, a search for “Microsoft Edge stable” on Google actually points users to the official download link for the stable version of Microsoft Edge stored on Microsoft’s servers. This version isn’t yet listed on the Microsoft Edge Insider page" (https://win.softpedia.com) and I have seen that some people have installed it, not me because I'm waiting for an official release.
Perhaps I didn't explain better.
Firefox does not have profiles (I know that you can have instances or profiles with firefox.exe -p) but I don't have them). IE and Edge, also, don't have profiles.
Edge chromium have them so I have two. One for everything and another exlcusive for emails, FB and other personal stuff.
I have read the link but my worries are for what will happen when the stable version becomes available. Will it recognize my two profiles now on beta?.
I also know that I can start from scratch but I'm trying to know if there is a way to avoid that. For example I have on users/mypc/appdata/local/microsoft/edge beta a folder user data where, I suppose, is all my data. Can I copy that to users/mypc/appdata/local/microsoft/edge and being recognized by the new edge?.
Thanks.
