Hi everyone working on Edge, what's the status on robust pen support?

 

It seems all browsers based on Chromium have terrible pen support with a few having been patched up to be slightly better than Google's offering. I can't even use my Surface Pen at all really with Google Chrome.

 

Vivaldi has some pen support, but very often pushing the back/forward buttons with the pen does nothing.

 

Only legacy Edge and Firefox have proper pen support, legacy Edge being the best.

 

I've got a Surface Book 2 and use the pen a lot and I assume there are thousands if not millions of others out there utterly disappointed with the very poor state of Chromium with pens/touch. Quite shocking really that in this touch/pen-enabled tech world we are in the #1 browser, as per install base, has been left in this state. Hopefully, MS can help sort Google out.
