What is the expected release of the final version? already have a date? I would like to suggest that the development team focus first on adapting the functions it has in the old version and launching the browser, and then worrying about the news, the new engine works fine from what I could see, just missing the removed functions to have a higher edge than the previous one. I am keen on edge canary translation this good needs tweaking but is far superior to BING extensionElliot Kirk

Hi Vini,
There is not a date being suggested or advertised in any official way or from any official source, yet. However, that said, many of us reckon Spring 2020 is possible or likely, along with the Spring 2020 Update for Windows 10.
Hey, you can be the newest new member of the ever-growing "Keep Edge Features Club". There are a lot of us! Be sure to tell Mr. Smiley
you, also, don't want Edge Features omitted, forgotten or neglected.

It will take so long, I'm really enjoying the Edge Beta but the missing features are missing, what remains is to wait, anyway the Edge is very promising, I'm looking forward to the final version.- Drew1903Oct 23, 2019Silver Contributor

Just a wee reminder... one does see more things sooner with Canary & Dev than, Beta. One can, also, run/use more than one Channel simultaneously in the same machine and that's in addition to current Edge, of course.

- gardenvv290Oct 11, 2019Brass ContributorMy guess is that it'll be either this christmas or january when it's released. There's only a few things left to implement and the rest is just tweaks and fixes. And the top feedback threads show that a bunch of stuff will be fixed in october and one last thing in november. So that aligns also with either christmas or january. They however will have classic edge removed from the spring 20H1 windows 10 release.

It doesn't make any sense to release it post january when windows 7 support dies for non businesses and still have them bring edge chromium to windows 7.
