You mentioned earlier that only the current version of Edge supports 1080p and higher Netflix resolution playback and I asked whether the Netflix app in Windows 10 also supports 1080p and higher playback resolutions or not.
it's related, Windows 10 uses the same webview system as the Edge browser.
