Below is a list of the things that I would like edge chromium have:
Personalize edge with themes (Chrome store?)
Possibility to use my own image in new tab page
Fully customizable toolbar (add or remove items)
Save webpage screenshot or part of it as an image
Phishing and malware protection
Download manager
Built-in VPN
I want to point out that I´m no expert, only a regular user, so I don´t know if some or all the things above mentioned have been or are going to be implemented.

Hi Jose,
Your note caught my eye. I'm sure Elliot will have more to say, but, I'd like to just touch on a couple of your items.
"Toolbar items, Add/Remove - this can be applied, now in regard to extensions' icons. The "Show in toolbar" has not been put in Edge C., yet. But, the items in it have not been put in yet, either. And that includes Add notes which, is your next item...
Saving parts of a site - That is Add notes. As far as we know, now, all these things are coming.
NB: In the meantime (or anytime), the same can be done with Snip & Sketch.
Phishing & malware protect, already, exist and (Edge C.) will work with WS, same as Edge once, we have converted.

I am & was aware of that. I am led to believe Add notes will be in Edge C eventually.

Drew1903 In Edge C on the favourites bar, the folder icons are just outlined against the grey background. It's been like this for a few weeks over various updates. Here's what I'm seeing:
