Elliot Kirk Pinned tabs should be saved in case of an unexpected shutdown. You do pin tabs for quick access and not to loss where you are on the web site. Now you keep losing it. What is made worse because for some reason the development version of Edge does not show up in the history time line.

Hi Erik,
I'm going to address your 2 comments separately.
1. Pinned tabs should be saved in case of an unexpected shutdown
This 1 has me scratching my head. The point of pinning is the item is attached to the taskbar until & unless the End User unpins it. Pin items do not disappear due to a shut-down, be it planned or unplanned.
2. Edge C does not show up in the history time line
No, it doesn't, if you are talking about Windows 10 Timeline.; at least, not by default. It will, once Edge C is 'embedded' in Win10 (instead, of Edge). However, in the meantime, they CAN work together by grabbing an extension. Can say, from 1st hand use, it works nicely. It can be found https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/timeline-support/meokcjmjkobffcgldbjjklmaaediikdj
Cheers,
