MicrosoftElliot Kirk Thanks for building a hope to bring back browser consumers back to Microsoft eco system as everything evolves around it.
Many of SharePoint customer use IE11 on Windows 7. I would love to see if this version is going to be available on Window 7 so we at least can recommend users to switch to alternative Edge for better performance.

Elliot Kirk I agree we are looking forward and that is where growth is. I assumed moving to Chromium will allow Edge to become platform independent. With little bit of fixes, it will also run on Window 7. So we can tell our 50% IE customers there, hey don't go anywhere else when you move forward but there is another option i.e. Edge. It can rum super fast and smooth. So when 50% of the customers move, they move to Edge as that has become habit.
FYI Chrome on Win7 run super fast and IE11 on Win7 run super slow.
I was thinking more in line of how we retain our customer with Microsoft experience when to look for options when upgrading.Pramod Kumar Chandoria
Anything that helps move customers away from Win 7 & IE is all good. If Edge C speeds that up, terrific.

With any luck it will be the case. And, the nice thing is, it smells very likely.
