Hello, as I do not have the sufficent rights/privileges to answer the survey "How do you use the current "Add notes" functionality in Microsoft Edge?" https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Surveys/How-do-you-use-the-current-quot-Add-notes-quot-functionality-in/m-p/413759#M2
here is a copy of my answer:
I mostly use it at work when reviewing new design or functionalities proposed by our product department (the company I work for is a marketplace for collectors).
1) I surf a defined url (whether demo, pre-prod or prod).
2) I review it in depth in one tab while I have the same url with "add note" activated in another tab or window.
3) I type comments, highlight stuff or draw with my printscreen.
4a) I open the One Note app when I want to quickly send a jpg.
4b) my preferred way is to open the note into OneNote 2016, because there I can export the file as a pdf. It contains the whole web page (so this is better than a printscreen, where you are limited to what's on the screen and not the full scrolled page) + comments with ref on the page + drawings.
This is fast, complete and a huge asset during testing or review.
Same path for "how to/wiki" I sometimes do.
Cheers
