I understand you want to replace IE and Edge with this project. Right? Then AxtiveX support is a must! Possibly also as an addon just for those who really need this support. ActiveX is often needed for older devices like video surveillance and other multimedia devices. These systems usually have a very long lifespan and are not easy to replace, so compatibility through ActiveX support would be very welcome.
