when will the New microsoft edge be available for the regular average joe? Because this new Microsoft edge is alot better than the current one

    Prior to downloading and installing vital information is whether or not it will install as a separate app in addition to the existing Edge or replace it? If replacing, will it retain favorites and history information etc.? I am concerned with these topics due to experience of losing important information stored in existing apps when upgrading, so any clarification as to the initial behavior of a new release vs. the existing "predecessor" would be very welcome (as recovering lost information is a major "time thief" the importance of this information is vital for any SW, not just Edge, and is my primary concern when upgrading existing apps).

      The expectation & understanding is that one will replace the other as our default browser in Win10.

    Ok here is a few things that need to happen edge needs to less resource hungry and battery friendly and add ask cortana please.Elliot Kirk

        I loved Microsoft as a Google-less world. But no Windows Phone, no Edge … no Office 365! I'll change to Google without any Microsoft-product!! We don't need you any more!
