There is one school of thought suggesting that IF an Insider Channel continues to exist after Edge C goes GA, there would be one not, 3, anymore. Many do expect (at least) one to live on after we go GA. This being used behind the scenes to 'evolve' the actual browser *. But, ultimately, que sera sera.
* This would make the scenario somewhat similar to Windows Insiders working on an Insider Build of the OS behind the scenes for our evolving Windows 10 (Admittedly, that does have 2 Tracks, Fast & Slow).

None of the Beta/Dev/Canary channels are going away after Stable channel is released.
Microsoft needs those channels to evaluate the changes and features before they are rolled to the stable channel. just like Google needs those channels for their Chrome browser.
