We're Listening!
Elliot KirkNot a feedback, but an Idea: Make Microsoft Edge Insider Microsoft Wave, to differentiate from Edge and make people believe that it is not an upgrade or extension from Edge. It also fits more because of the icon's design and the fact that "Its a wave of the web's ocean" Support this reply and maybe Edge Insider will become Microsoft Wave.

Or maybe Edge Anaheim, it's original code name which sounds more beautifully imo.
- I would rather they call the channels "first wave, second wave" etc. but keep it as "Edge".
Aside, I like that ideas are being bounced around, when most people are just saying things like "Edge doesn't fill my niche needs or live up to my high expectations". (although that is useful and necessary for the devs, it has its place.)
I wish there were a forum for concepts and ideas.Totally agree, Edge insider's community needs an "Ideas" section just like many other communities in here.
though I think a bug tracker or feature tracker would be more efficient since it would make developer's job easier too to find out how many people want a feature.
- Yea, I would love that. Right now everything is in this nondescript forum called "We're listening" and it's just an awkward fit.
I don't think that was the the original intention behind this form, but hopefully "[They]'re listening" Elliot Kirk amirite? 😉

Hi Graham,
There is one school of thought suggesting that IF an Insider Channel continues to exist after Edge C goes GA, there would be one not, 3, anymore. Many do expect (at least) one to live on after we go GA. This being used behind the scenes to 'evolve' the actual browser *. But, ultimately, que sera sera.
* This would make the scenario somewhat similar to Windows Insiders working on an Insider Build of the OS behind the scenes for our evolving Windows 10 (Admittedly, that does have 2 Tracks, Fast & Slow).

Drew- I presumed that it would carry on taking after the Chrome paradigm (Canary, Dev and Beta aren't original to Edge)

Good idea! Has my vote Nice 'ring' to it and yes, the logic & rational to the idea (with the logo & 'concept') is solid.
