Welcome to the Microsoft Edge Insiders community
I live in English, United Kingdom and using Edge (Chrome engine) on Windows 7, 64-bit.
Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Edge (Chrome engine) are all set to English (United Kingdom)
Using Javascript they all return Browsers language = en-GB and not en-US.
When printing out pages IE and Google Chrome print the date as d/mm/yyyy, but Edge (Chrome engine) prints the date in the non standard American format m/d/yyyy.
Is there some extra setting in Edge (Chrome engine) to use the correct date format, or is this a bug?

Neither. This is the reason & for now, have to live w/ it... whilst things like this are in beta & a work-in-progress they are done to English (US) & United States region. They tend to take on a greater degree of universality as release time approaches OR by release time. These are very early Builds, currently and won't see such expansion this soon. It, universality, will be supported eventually.
Cheers,
