Welcome to the Microsoft Edge Insiders community
Hi Elliot Kirk
I'm very pleasantly suprised with Edge C so far. Quite quick & smooth. I was starting to miss the side-bar arrangement for accessing favourites, history etc - I wasn't taking to the fly-out arrangement of Chrome, but now I've discovered the shortcut SHIFT+CTRL+B to hide/unhide the favourites bar, I think I'm ok with this 😊
Here are three things from my wish list:
- Would like to make notes on webpage
- Would like webpage 'peek' (dropdown page previews from 'old' Edge)
- PDF editing - I use Xodo as my default app or website for PDF editing (and readng until I stated testng Edge C). If MS could give Edge C all of that functionality (as well as what old Edge is able to do), there would be no need to go anywhere else to work with PDFs. I am increasingly warming to the concept of working within my browser, so this would help me along my way!
There seems to be an issue with scrolling PDFs and in Bing Maps. Scrolling is not smooth.
Thanks - good job!

Hi & welcome, Pete,
In case your interested, Alt+F will open Settings. Also, Canary has Always, Never & New tab only for the favs Bar... not, just show/hide like Dev. And here are some things we know are coming...
Cheers,
Drew

Oops! Well, then, it should be, should have been. Good call-out 👍👍 Considering it's something most everyone uses and wants. People like having it... Some have, even, said, it's their reason for preferring Edge.
Thanks, thought it was included. I will check.
Update: Actually, not sure to what or which "list" you refer. But, no matter, should be on every list.
Cheers,
Drew
Sent from Windows Phone- Dan_AI4GKApr 25, 2019Iron ContributorHey Drew, I see you're using Windows Phone. I now use mine (Lumia 950XL) for a high-def camera and mini-tablet. I decided, extremely reluctantly, to migrate away after I realized that Microsoft is no longer supporting it. I loved my Lumia. 😞
