I dont know where to post this but here goes.How do you turn off the favorites bar on the new tab.I have tried everything & nothing works.

At that location you can't; same as current Edge. Canary offers 3 choices: Always, Never and New Tab page only; still, no option to be w/out it on New tab. There are a few things which, do not apply in New tab page, Mouse Gestures is one example. It's not a 'normal' page, in that sense. This is true for both Edge and Edge C.
