*Updated 9/3* Syncing in Microsoft Edge Preview Channels

Hi All,
We have rolled out a fix to the problem where clients were reporting error on sync. We expect an app restart should get the client back into a functional state for sync now. We so much appreciate your patience and willingness to help all this while. Apologies that it took us time to get this fix across to you. If you still see any errors, please submit using in-app feedback button (and drop me a private message so that we jump on it faster). Sincere thanks for working with us on building a better product.

Drew1903 Well, I do believe all comments regarding this should apply as you as a Microsoft partner and you should let the company know that they are not doing right by their customers. Sorry, as it seems you might not understand that.

When I first signed up in this the forum, I was presented with this
Really helpful and This specially because unless Microsoft explicitly mark an account (blue for employees, Red for moderators), then all users are the same. (MVPs are not Microsoft employees and neither are they paid by the company but their profile color is green), people with Yellow color are no different than you, the color and title is just based on the post count, nothing else 🙂
Anyway, in my opinion your question and request pretty much belongs to Edge insider forum because you are talking about Edge insider sync feature and Office team don't just seem to be the correct ones to contact.
To be honest it's also my concern as well. right now I'm using a free account but if i ever want to use business account, I don't want that kind of limitation.

HotCakeX Nargg Drew1903 Regarding offering sync for non-premium AAD accounts, we acknowledge that it is important for our customer to have sync available for all AAD accounts and scoping it to just AAD premium accounts is not ideal. We totally understand the frustration that this is causing and are actively exploring a solution for this. Unfortunately I don't have any concrete timelines that can be shared on this yet. All the right teams inside Microsoft are working together on this. Given that earlier version of Edge supported sync for only AAD premium users, there is more work be done for new Edge to support it. Really appreciate you raising this and your patience as we work through a plan to solve this. We will certainly post announcements on this if we have any updates.
