*Updated 9/3* Syncing in Microsoft Edge Preview Channels

Hi All,
We have rolled out a fix to the problem where clients were reporting error on sync. We expect an app restart should get the client back into a functional state for sync now. We so much appreciate your patience and willingness to help all this while. Apologies that it took us time to get this fix across to you. If you still see any errors, please submit using in-app feedback button (and drop me a private message so that we jump on it faster). Sincere thanks for working with us on building a better product.

I still cannot sync and have sent in so many smiley feedbacks. I was told a few weeks ago that a upcoming release would solve the last of the sync issue but I still cannot sync.
It is able to pull my profile photo but displays an error for the sync status. I have tried different computers, signing out and back in etc.

Hi, I have tried all channels with similar results.
Currently on Version 78.0.276.20 (Official build) beta (64-bit) Windows
- HotCakeXOct 28, 2019MVPThe developers confirmed that the sync engine has problems and they need to fix it and make it complete.
meanwhile you can use other channels, im using Canary on a bunch of devices with different Microsoft account and they are fine so far.
also make sure to choose "delete all user data" during uninstall process of each Edge insider channel. they might leave some left over data if you don't do that and those left overs might cause problem later on.
