*Updated 9/3* Syncing in Microsoft Edge Preview Channels
Hi All,
We have rolled out a fix to the problem where clients were reporting error on sync. We expect an app restart should get the client back into a functional state for sync now. We so much appreciate your patience and willingness to help all this while. Apologies that it took us time to get this fix across to you. Elliot Kirk I am still seeing some weird issues with syncing in both Dev and Canary. My Galaxy Note 8 started syncing, however I keep getting duplicate favorites. About 43,000 or so duplicates. These are favorites that I have deleted several times from Edge AND Edge Dev and Canary Builds. When I open Edge, they do not show up, however, when my phone started syncing, I see them show up.
I keep deleting them, and they keep showing back up. Where are they coming from?
Das Problem hatte ich, als ich zusätzlich zum Edge Canary auf meinem PC noch den Dev und anschliessend auf 2 weiteren PC je einen Canary und Dev installiert hatte. Somit habe ich je 3 Canary und 3 Dev Kanäle installiert. Ich hatte max. 5 Gleiche Einträge. Bei allen hatte ich die Favoriten Sync deaktiviert und einen Ausgewählt, wo ich alle Mehrfach Einträge löschte, so das nur 1 pro Eintrag übrig blieb. In den Restlichen Kanälen hatte ich sie Komplett entfernt. Da ich zu dieser Zeit nicht wusste, was die Ursache war, hatte ich auch die Sync in den Originalen Edge deaktiviert. Zum Schluss die Sync in allen Insider Versionen wieder aktiviert und habe seit dem keine Mehrfach Einträge mehr.
