*Updated 9/3* Syncing in Microsoft Edge Preview Channels

Hi All,
We have rolled out a fix to the problem where clients were reporting error on sync. We expect an app restart should get the client back into a functional state for sync now. We so much appreciate your patience and willingness to help all this while. Apologies that it took us time to get this fix across to you. If you still see any errors, please submit using in-app feedback button (and drop me a private message so that we jump on it faster). Sincere thanks for working with us on building a better product.

prfraczek Sorry you are having problems with sync. I just added a new page to my favorites on my Note 9 and it immediately appeared on my desktop and on my Galazy Tab S3. I know that doesn't help you, but you do need to know that it is working for some people. The problem is to find out why.
I am talking about: password sync, cards, payments sync, auto-fill, extensions, themes, open tabs, addresses, phone numbers, history

prfraczek I am sorry to contradict you but not everybody knows that favourites work because favourites syncing still doesn't work for everybody. First, Microsoft got it working from PC to PC. Now they are working to get it working from PC to smart device. And, I can absolutely tell you that it doesn't work properly on mine.
So I guess you didn't know it doesn't work for everybody would have been a more appropriate comment.

prfraczek I didn't try to make you acknowledge that syncing favourites doesn't work for me. I brought that up because you said: "everyone knows favourites works." Not everybody knows because it doesn't work for everybody. You just assumed that because it works for you, it works for everybody.
What you saw on the page https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/whats-new is an invitation TO TRY those features. Not a proclamation that they were finished. Go back to that page and look what it says. It says TRY IT. When you see those words, it means that Microsoft wants us to TRY IT and find the bugs that may have slipped by them.
Meanwhile, if you had checked your settings, you would have noticed that Microsoft is now only working on Favourites synchronization but also Settings synchronization.
