Hi I also like brand new in EDGE!
But a billion people are used to the look of Chrome – and that's a serious argument not to do the opposite!
You just have to do it better! people have a habit of Chrome and new edge won't change that!

You are right, it is all about the UI and UX.
We have one challenge like people saying it is just look like the Chrome , so why shall I switch?
In the other hand, when it has a new look, people might wonder this is new and not easy to use.
So it is tricky but this is something should be done in due time.
