Top Feedback Summary for November 2022
Paul_VC The answer is "kind of". All of the submissions get put into the same feedback system that in-app feedback goes to, so feedback is seen by the team from there. However, we don't respond over there at this time due to some resource constraints. Same story from every tech company right now, amirite? 😉
Re: items not being equal across the two spaces - yeah, part of that is my fault. I haven't closed out items over there that have been closed on this list. We don't yet have a solid plan around changes here, but know that I do have it on my list to adjust. That list seems to be forever long these days, but now that I am no longer on restrictions from back surgery I am able to get back to my full work load and get things where they need to be. 🙂 I like the idea of reviewing the amount of votes/comments there to make it on this list, I will consider that a path we take!
Thanks for prodding me about this often, it does help remind me how important this is to the community and where improvements can be made. I have felt terrible about the lack of updates I have been able to do here, 2023 will bring more changes as I review the most recent Insider Survey, too.

I am not seeing this feature "always open favorites in new tab" in Dev. Whats happening.

It has been a couple of months since the most recent post on Top Feedback, unless I missed it. In the last few weeks items have started to disappear from the Microsoft Edge Feedback Portal, including the "prevent auto-play" item and the top voted request for extension support for Edge on mobile. I tried using search to find either of them, but I found no results. I also tried filtering on different Status values, but I did not find them that way.
Has there been a change to the purpose of the Edge Feedback Portal? Is there a different way to track the status of the items that were on this list?- Thank you for taking the time to clearly explain this. Appreciate the effort you put into communicating the details. Wishing you well and hope your recovery from back surgery keeps progressing as expected.
