It's not a revenue grab, it's to help people who really need financial help and it's only in the US. People can ignore it just like how they do on those sites that keep asking you to buy more.
There are lots of ways to offer this. With a browser extension. BUT NOT DEFAULT IN MY BROWSER. I can't ignore the annoying coupons offering. I have to go and tell it to turn off.
