PDF Inking on Microsoft Edge

I don’t like that it treats touch and the pen the same. The old edge you could scroll with touch and ink. This was very handy in annotating music for me while practicing guitar and the new behavior is super clumsy

Toddwseattle this is useful feedback and we are working on enabling the option to turn off writing with touch. But in the meanwhile, you can scroll/pan the documents with two fingers. You can also scroll in the margins.

  Scrolling in the margins helps solve the ergonomic issue btw...i can do this with one finger. the accidental marketing i mentioned in the previous comment is still a problem. Thanks for the reply vygadeka.

  vygadeka Scroll/Pan is MUCH more clumsy. To give you some idea of the ergonomics for my current use case; I have a guitar on my lap and am reaching across to the screen; plus a pen in my left hand (i'm left handed). If it's one finger; i can keep the pen in my hand; if it's two, i have to put the pen down. Try it one handed with a pen!
  
  Plus; in a more broad case (I understand my use to mark up sheet music maybe an 'edge' case 🤔). Also, what starts to make me steam is when I accidentally hit the screen and make a mark. My other use case is signing document; which i'm sure is how many use it. Errant marks are really disconcerting on a contract. Thanks for listening! I was 'in your shoes' many years ago.
