Jan 16, 2022Even computers in a large organization are not public outside of isolated environments, so it would be strange to check if the password is secure!
But thank you very much for the clarification.

I observed this specially in universities' library where some student even forgot to log out from the public system. So we have session expiry and profile removals.
I observed the similar behavior in coffee nets.

Thank you for your feedback - this space is monitored by the Edge Team and certainly such information helps and encourages further work!

You know what advertising is, it is when you think that a given product meets your expectations, after a deeper analysis, doubt and frustration remain!
Best regards 🙂 - DeletedJan 17, 2022There is nothing impossible the team can't add to the password pointer to scan if a user choose to scan the current password 🙂 I think Norton does that though

Sorry, but when creating a password, the site you log in to helps, but it won't check it in real time with a database of compromised passwords!Edge analyzes already saved passwords!
So for me it's obvious.
- DeletedJan 17, 2022Hi Andrezj1,
It would help a lot to help me make better password decisions when making a password and knowing the health of it before saving it for than later for it to tell me it's leaked. Some websites do this but it would be great to have it antivley. - DeletedJan 17, 2022I agree with you Reza as a lot of websites or Norton already provided this in the password field that tells you if the password is good or bad in levels too. So I dont' see why a browser can't, it's all about security to the finest.

Unfortunately, only simplification of service can be a motivating factor!
Currently expanded functions are an argument for 10% of users!
Nobody is interested in new features if they don't use Edge! - Reza_AmeriJan 17, 2022Silver ContributorIt is actually job of the IT professionals to do it.
However, having new and valuable features will change their mind to switch to Microsoft Edge and set it as their default browser. - DeletedJan 17, 2022
I'm very sorry, the whole Edge team is supposed to work to ensure the safety of people who do not care about it themselves?
