It appears they in the last few builds they removed even the flag/option that would allow falling back to the classic download experience.

I am moving back to Vivaldi. Also Chrome based.
A browser the respects and listens to its users.

Still working for me. Are you using dev or canary?

I WILL NOT USE the new "download experience" no matter how many people tell me to like it.
