Edge Bar still is there in new Stable version for Windows 10, but auto-start is disabled
Hi Kelly_Y, how are you?
I've been using Edge Bar for a while now and it had an option to make it persistent, pinned to task bar, so you could use it anytime without having to open the browser. This option disappeared from my Edge and now I can only use it inside the browser. Is there a way to solve it or Microsoft disabled that option on purpose?

Microsoft
PauloCapelli Hi - Thanks for reaching out! We just released Microsoft Edge Stable Version 128.0.2739.42, which includes a new entry point in edge://settings/sidebar and includes an option to "Enable Edge Bar". This will allow you to detach the sidebar to the desktop to access your apps while outside of the browser.

Thanks Paulo for bringing this up
Kelly, I'm using 129.0.2779.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit) on win 10 & 11, but still can't detach the Edge Sidebar !!
Any clue ?- PauloCapelliSep 11, 2024Copper ContributorI don`t know if there are some differences between the enterprise license and a normal one, but it seems that I can only detach my Edge Sidebar if I`m using my company`s notebook. My home notebook has the last version of Edge and the detach option doesn`t show up.

Kelly_Y Hi!
Thanks! I've updated my Edge and now it has this option. I was worried that Microsoft would not bring back such an useful feature!
