Here's my use-case in which I would find useful to have the option to manually put tabs to sleep (without having to wait for the timer to elapse): suppose during my work I have to interact for a limited time with a page from which I use a chat application (like whats app): as long as I use it, I receive notifications from it and everything is good.
However, when I need no more this page (I'll likely need it again, maybe in one day, maybe in one hour, so I don't want to close the window), I want it to go to sleep immediately in order to prevent continuing to receive notifications I'm not interested in.
