I just downloaded this and it's a shame. Beta is, as far as I'm concerned, the proposed feature complete release. It still looks almost exactly like Chrome. Looks out of place in Windows 10 and fits better with Macs. Even Edge on Android looks more like it fits in with Windows 10. Vivaldi have done a better job of making a chromium based browser fit within Windows than Microsoft have. What a shame.
JordanQ It doesn't fit into the Windows 10 aesthetic, though. It has no elements of fluent design. The tab control is not a standard windows control. The menus are not standard windows controls. The address bar has horrible round corners because it's not a standard window control. It doesn't even follow windows standard control processes (like recognizing the back button in tablet mode). Fonts are shaded differently making them harder to read.
But other than that you're totally correct.
