TrueGame, no we are not giving up on UWP.  We did realize that for a browser to be successful, it needed to be everywhere our customers are.  This includes mobile devices on both Android and iOS, as well as MacOS, and older Windows OSes, such as Windows 7 and 8.1.

Elliot KirkOkay, now I know ms is not gonna give up uwp. However what about windows 10 s? Can it run Chromium edge browser? And is there any plan updating edge through windows store?

    Hi,

    Edge C can, does & will run on Win10.  No, would update via WU.  Once it is part of the OS, it's the same as Edge is, now, in regard to the source of its updates..  Store apps update via Store.  The browser is not a Store app.  Or, actually, update within itself, itself, as the Insider Builds are updating, now.  But, will not be via Store.
