Autofill Blog #2: Password Security

Password Generator is currently available in Canary and Dev channels of Microsoft Edge. There's no information about the feature being available on Edge Mobile, as of today. Will share an update here as and when the status changes. Thanks.
Hi Suhrid_Palsule you mention that it is available in Canary and Dev channels, I tried to make an account on a website yesterday (via Canary for Windows) and there wasn't any obvious option to select an auto generated password, even in the right click menu.
Can you confirm how this is enabled, please?

Hey Wittycat, thank you for your feedback.
Among the items you mentioned, only FoAS qualifies as having 'gone away' from Microsoft Edge. Rest assured - FoAS will be brought back to edge://flags and Password Import will also make it to the browser, although the exact date for the two isn't available for sharing.

Password Import (i think from a csv or other file like that) is a exemple or the "FoAS" (fill on account selection) in DEV version ?
or why can't we add new password manually (for https broken (router or other network think)) ?
these are some basic features for a password manager and 2/3 was into the "pre-release" but have disappeared since and it's very sad !!!
nb: i already reported it here and on alt shift i, but it don't change anything

Hi sayjay09, sorry you faced this issue. Password Generator is made available when the browser identifies the user is trying to create a new password - such as on 'Sign Up' and 'Change Password' pages. Sometimes, some webpages are not identified correctly, resulting in the feature not being offered (even via the right-click menu).
