Digital signature missing in Connectivity file in Microsoft 365 network connectivity test

Hi,

The Microsoft 365 network connectivity test is widely used to check and tshoot issues related with MS products. Some colleagues and myself, have seen than this week, the tool is not running ok.

 

When I checked, the downloaded file today is missing a digital signature which makes it untrusted for the browsers. 

 

I read a post from May pointing an issue, to a possible lack of digital signature too.

 

Are you guys aware of this? When would this be fixed?

    I'm from the team that publishes this tool. I cannot reproduce any digital signature error and the tool is running all tests ok. Can you share a few screenshots showing what this error is and where in the tool execution it occurs so I can take a look?

      Hi PaulAndrew! I just made a new try and file is getting a Digital Signature and the issue I faced last week, is no longer present.
      Anyway, I am attaching a print screen of a file comparison I made last week with a .exe downloaded on August 1st when I reported the issue, and another one from months ago. See that Digital Signature tab in the file from thursday and even friday, was missing.

      So, I was able to get into the website, start a new test, get the file downloaded but with an alert, and then I couldn´t execute it due to MS Defender didn´t trust it. Even clicking "Run anyway", it was not allowed.
