CoPilot Licenses

Hi,

We are a small organization with approx. 50 users. We currently have E3 licenses for all users. How can I procure copilot licenses for a few users to test before I can deploy for all my users.

Our Microsoft partner informs that we cannot deploy Copilot . Its so confusing, can someone clear the ai, as we are keen to deploy copilot.

TIA.

Your Microsoft partner might be mistaken. Copilot for Microsoft 365 is indeed available for small organizations like yours. Here's how you can clarify the confusion and get Copilot licenses for testing:

Eligibility: Your E3 licenses qualify you for Copilot. Copilot is an add-on license to specific Microsoft 365 plans, including E3.

Minimum Purchase Removed: There used to be a minimum purchase requirement, but as of January 16, 2*024, you can buy Copilot licenses for as few users as you need.

    Licensing Process:
You can likely purchase Copilot directly through your existing Microsoft 365 subscription portal.
If you manage licenses through a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), they can assist with purchasing Copilot add-on licenses.

You can procure license for few users before trying out for all your users. Your Microsoft Partner should be able to do this for you. You cant directly purchase license from Microsoft for Business Accounts. Even if you do so, Microsoft would route your request to some of their partner and get it done for you.
