IaaS VM backup failed

If you cannot backup the VM using the waagent because the McAFee agent is interfering with the waagent extension.  you could look into the possibility of creating a snapshot of the VM disks.

You can take a snapshot of an OS or data disk VHD for backup or to troubleshoot VM issues. A snapshot is a full, read-only copy of a VHD.  you can find more info here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/snapshot-copy-managed-disk
