Firebird Database perfomance

Hi,

 

i want to deploy a software with a firebird database. But the performance is extremely poor. I change the premium ssd to an ultra disk, it became a little better, but the working is very sad.

 

Have anyone an idea to solve the performance issue?

    Stefan Becker Did you figure out the issue?  With our heavy I/O application in an Azure environment, we'll see a low number of records processed per second.  Putting that same application on a physical machine that is nothing special and no VM involved, performance jumps by a factor of 4..
