Your post counter is off by one

So I came here to report various bugs in Outlook, because Microsoft leaves me no other way to contact them directly, and they don't make it easy to report problems with their products no matter how big or small. It's a one way street. Take it or leave it. That's okay, I will be leaving soon anyway. But during my stay here, I noticed a couple of bugs in this very platform, the platform I came to use to report bugs in Outlook. That's too much for me. You know software bugs are truly unique. Most bugs, you step on 'em, and they're gone. But software bugs? You step on them, and they just multiply right before your eyes, not in the dark.

I made 1 post and while it was awaiting approval, I started typing up another. It gets auto-saved (good thinking there!), but I opened up the site in a new tab to check on something else. Then I went to check my profile and it said I had made "2 posts".

By the time I published my second post, my post counter said I had made 3 posts.

Thanks for approving my post! But why did I have to wait for 48 hours? I don't have time for this. Because there is no way for a user to list their unapproved posts or comments, they have no way to navigate back to it. So I had to wait for the post to be approved in order to add this comment to it.

I just want to add that the counter appears to be working correctly, but it's hard to say for sure due to these approvals. The way it works is the counter goes up as new posts and comments queue up for approval. If a post or comment is approved, the counter will stay at its higher number. If it's not approved, then the number will go down to reflect this.

But seriously, this site is so dysfunctional. I can't use this.

Did you update your email password and your app on your phone and is it ios or android?  Per my browser search,  yes, there is news that you can look up and fact check as O don't want to mislead you.   That error you had on another post indicates authentication issue,  an outdated owa outlook web app, and the company side server issue,  not yours.   However,  my findings are from Google search.   I am able to message and call the company in the Microsoft Outlook Android Google Playstore app and has been updated today.
