User profile

hi John-project​ You’re not missing anything — this is a recent change in how profiles work in the Microsoft Tech Community. Previously, profile pages (with bios, activity, etc.) were publicly viewable. Now, most of that information is private, and only you can see your own profile details when signed in.

At the moment, there isn’t a setting to make your profile visible to others. The change was made to simplify privacy and security, so profiles now mainly serve as a personal space for managing your own activity and preferences.

If you’d like this feature brought back, I’d recommend sharing feedback through the Community Ideas section — Microsoft does monitor suggestions there.
