URGENT HELP- cant access admin centre for my business
Hi. Needing urgent assistance/advice on how to access my control panel when the Multi- Factor Authenticator app wont be produce the security code when I've signed in using username and password.
I'm desperate, I've called Microsoft 3 times with no return call to assist. I cannot send any quotes/invoice from my 3 businesses for 2 days now

hi brentwalker Here’s a recommended set of work-arounds + support contact routes for your “locked out of Microsoft 365 Admin Center due to MFA/Authenticator app not working” situation — including a draft you could use when contacting Microsoft.
try below
Check if there is another admin in your tenant
If there’s more than one Global Administrator, that other admin can sign in and reset or remove MFA for your account. This immediately restores access.
Use backup sign-in methods (if previously configured)
If you had added alternate verification methods (phone-number, backup email, hardware token, recovery codes), choose “I can’t use my Authenticator app right now” — that may allow use of SMS/phone or recovery code path.
If you never configured any backup, this path won’t help.Ref: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2287817/lost-admin-account-with-mfa?
Contact Microsoft Support via phone and ask for Data Protection Team escalation
Because you’re (as you say) the sole admin and locked out — the only way to regain access is via Microsoft Support “Data Protection” process.
When you call, be ready to verify business identity (company name, domain, billing info, possibly domain / DNS ownership).
If phone support is giving you automated loops, try calling during peak business hours — Monday to Friday, regional working hours. Many users report better luck then.

As fallback: create a new Microsoft 365 trial tenant to open a support request
If you truly can’t get through with your existing tenant (since MFA blocks login), you can create a new trial tenant, then from that tenant’s admin center open a support request describing the situation and request help for your original tenant.
This is a trick many small businesses use when they are completely locked out.How to find Microsoft Business Support cont* details

When talking to IVR, answer prompts approximately like:
- Problem type: “Authenticator / Sign-in / Account access”
- Product: “Office 365 for business / Microsoft 365”
- Account type: “Business / Company account”
- Administrator? “Yes”
- Other admins? “No, I’m the only admin”
- Need ticket/service request? “Yes”
Ask explicitly to be connected to the Data Protection & Recovery team. That’s the only group that can reset MFA for a locked-out Global Admin.
