Query.

What is supposed to happen is:
For users who are logged in it will show your full name (first name and last name) and your login name like this:
Your Name (@yourname)
When a user is not logged in it is supposed to only show your login, so @yourname
Now its not a straight forward as that as there are some pages that it always shows only your @username and that has more to do with pages we have / have not customized. Also some pages sacrifice thinks like first and last name is the viewport (i.e the device the person is browsing with) is under certain resolutions.
All this to say, its really inconsistent and its something we intend to fix when we launch Aurora later this year.
I hope this answers any queries you have, if not then let me know and I will get back to you asap.
Thanks for your inquiry.
Their username, which is shown there, is the_catfix.
They've put their full name in their Microsoft account which is pulled into our systems. (Similar to for your account, where your username is A1-A1, it also shows your name as A S.)
We have documentation available (linked below) if they want to change that. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/community-faqs/how-to-change-my-community-identity-username-amp-full-name/ta-p/1449396
Thank you, but A S @ A1-A1 is not always visible always for those who are not logged in is @A1-A1
Below is an example:

I think so too:
