Microsoft Tech Community messaging broken
Long, long time user, first time poster in this discussion...
I used to be able to receive and send direct messages. I currently have 8 unread messages. *Eight.*
But, when I go to read them, the page has no content, and it just spins and spins, and nothing comes up.
Now, it's been barely working for a while- but why *have* the feature if it is clearly abandoned?
Is messaging ever going to work again? How do I download the messages I have gotten that have info in them I can use?

Clear Cache and Cookies: Accumulated cache and cookies can sometimes hinder website functionality. Clearing them might resolve loading issues.
Try a Different Browser or Device: Switching to another browser or device can help determine if the problem is specific to your current setup.
Check Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as connectivity issues can affect content loading.

LOL. Hilarious.
- This problem has been endemic to the Tech Community platform for years. The flaky messaging has been getting worse. It has just simply broken since the last update. So this means this problem is not new. It hasn't come up because of a caching issue, or flaky internet.
I have used different devices, operating systems, browsers, in private and in cognito, and removed all cookies and other files. I've used it on brand new machines and old ones. I have used other profiles. I have asked others to try to use it. I have extraordinarily fast and stable internet speeds. That is rarely the issue anymore. I have used this platform since it started. I am old. - None of your standard suggestions actually address the real problem. MESSAGING NO LONGER WORKS on the Tech Community Platform.
My question is: When will this problem be addressed and will it be fixed? If it is not going to be fixed, admit it. All other platforms and forums can do it, but Microsoft can't invest in their own community forums enough to get messaging to work when it once did? They were once capable of doing it. And if they don't care enough to fix messaging, what should we expect from the rest of the platform?
Mks_1973, looking forward to what you find out concerning this issue and how it is going to be returned to adequate function. - This problem has been endemic to the Tech Community platform for years. CA-Callahan Thank you for posting and Mks_1973 thank you for trying to help.
Since the Aurora update on Nov 5th we have seen some users are unable to access their inbox. We are investigating it with the system engineers and I am happy to provide feedback as soon as we know more. Flaky messaging is not something I have heard before about the platform so I would love some more information about the problems you faced in the classic UI.
