Is it possible to request deletion of an old account?
I have an old tech community profile out there that was associated with a previous employer’s email address, and I’d like to have that profile deleted. Obviously I no longer have access to the email address the profile is linked to, so I can’t sign in and delete it myself. Is it possible to submit a request with the profile URL and the email address it was tied to and have someone on the Microsoft side process that deletion?

hi jasontenpenny Yes — you can request deletion of an old Tech Community profile, even if you no longer have access to the original email address. You won’t be able to self-delete in that case, but Microsoft’s community support team can process it for you.
What you’ll need to do:
Gather the profile URL of the account you want deleted.
Note the email domain / employer account it was originally tied to.
Submit a request through the Microsoft Tech Community Contac us form (bottom of the site) or open a ticket with the Microsoft Account Data Privacy team https://aka.ms/PrivacyRequests
Once submitted, the moderation/support team will validate and take care of the deletion on the backend.
Since it involves account removal, it usually goes through Microsoft’s privacy process rather than the public forum.
