Account hacked
Hello,
The title pretty much sums it up. My account got hacked while I was asleep and it had the passkey removed while I was asleep. I tried to recover it after I woke up but the email was already changed.
I tried the account recovery form but had no success with it and I do not know where to go now.
I do not mind not being able to recover it but I would like it to be disabled because the One Drive connected to it has some of my files.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

hi Nydrazen Sry to hear, you're dealing with this. If the attacker already changed the email address and removed your passkey/security methods, then the normal recovery options become much harder.
At this point, your best option is to contact Microsoft account support directly and report the account as compromised. Even if recovery is not possible, they may still be able to help secure or disable the account to protect the OneDrive data.
A few things that may help:
Gather any proof of ownership you still have:
- old passwords,
- previous email addresses,
- Xbox/Skype/order history,
- billing info,
- device names,
- or anything tied to the account
Submit the recovery form again from a familiar device/location if possible
Check whether your original email received any "security info changed" messages - sometimes there is a recovery/reversal link valid for a limited time
Also, if the same password was used anywhere else:
Change it immediately on all other accounts
Enable MFA/passkeys there as well
Unfortunately, once the attacker fully replaces the security info, community forums usually cannot directly intervene - only Microsoft account support can review and potentially lock the account.
I hope you're able to either recover it or at least get it disabled quickly before the OneDrive data is accessed further.
