The chat history is gone.

My chat history with bing is gone, but I didn’t delete them, what's going on?

I found today that an overnight change in GUI for Copilot on Win10 22H2 made it more difficult to access Chat History, by hiding it. This change might be ok for a mobile app but wastes the available desktop space on a PC.

Procedure: log in using your personal account ( as discussed earlier in this thread).

The copilot home page has a chat box at the bottom. Click the clock icon at left side of the box. This displays the history.
If you're in the middle of chatting, hit Enter to close/clear the Chat box. Click the Copilot icon now visible at left side of box. This takes you to home and the clock icon is visible. (At least it is on my pc)

Hello donc745, I am on windows 11 and copilot recently changed to a dark blue background with no chat history. I do not see a clock over to the left of the app and there is no clock anywhere on the app. I cannot find my chat history. The chat history is available on my mobile device with copilot though. Do you have any advice?

I don't use Windows 11. A key point in this thread is that Chat History is available only for personal accounts. Be grateful that you can still see chat history on your mobile. Meanwhile, poke around in the W11 interface and see what you can find. Then please post a solution to help others.
