Please consider increasing the number of interactions with Bing Chat, 5 is not getting it done
Last week I used Bing Chat for a couple of cool things. One was to create a training class for programming. I was left with much I needed to add, but a great head start. Another thing I used it for was to create a script for a YouTube video. Again, a great start.
Today, I cannot accomplish either type task. Bing Chat asks questions, you respond, those count as part of the five. Once you reach five, you must refresh and start over, losing all context. You can ask it to pick back up; one of your next five, it says sure no problem, then suggests that it was helping me make a chocolate cake or something else, not even close to what we were doing.
This limitation of five was not well thought out.

- I think it's only temporary until they fine tune it. A few people on the Internet abused the AI for hours constantly and got some responses that lead to Microsoft limit it for now. I also want it to go back to how it was when it was first released, no restriction.
- It is already more than Five, now up to six and looks like it will soon be eight.
Unlimited would certainly cover things, but honestly, a limit of some sort should also be useable. I just don't know all use cases. Some of mine on ChatGPT, and early on Bing Chat are/were over a dozen. Some kind of bounds on 16 sound reasonable, 16/32/64/128 do we really need more than 128?Maybe if the conversation is interesting enough, why not ^^
Sydney was way more cheerful when first released, replying with lots of emojis and other stuff 🙂
- I agree. It would be great if Chat could dynamically add more range to the context queue for users who don't abuse the model. Even adding an "adult" button that gave a disclaimer about hallucination and confabulation that in return extended the context range would be terrific. I suppose that eventually a hierarchical transformer will be implemented to help solve transformer model shortcomings, but until then, context extension would be very helpful.
- The Adult button is actually already there, kind of... Bing has a safe search filter. Number of turns etc, could be adjusted dynamically based on the type of user you are, including your attempted abuse of the system.
I really hate losing context on things that need more than 6-turns a session.
