Passage key

Have you ever heard the term "passage key"? It's similar to the Harry Potter world of a "Portkey" but functions as a key one carries in order to travel through otherwise locked corridors. (I've also been hoping to get into an A.I. "chat" with "Sydney," but am at something of a loss as to how to get into one of those.)
