corded mouse? heheheh bing.com springs back to the top of the page because "AwayTimeThreshold' is set to 15 seconds in the java script of the page itself. it's not you it's by design. microsoft wants it to do that. i placed the fix for this in this thread.

- Anthony1967Feb 03, 2024Brass ContributorThat's crazy. Could you imagine Google having to use a "fix" or workaround such as tampermonkey just to get their search engine to function correctly? What the hell is wrong with Microsoft, are they daft? 🙂
- HotCakeXMar 04, 2024MVPI use Bing every single day and I don't see this problem...maybe try clearing browser cache or change to a different browser profile? You shouldn't need to use tamper monkey and custom script to fix it...
- noiwillnotMar 04, 2024Copper ContributorAs you will notice from my previous posts, this has also happened to me, along with many other people, and I have had to resort to TamperMonkey for a solution. It shouldn't be necessary to have to change browser, particularly if it is a browser that particularly suits. This a Microsoft programming issue and as such Microsoft should have the responsibility of fixing it.
Not that I think that there is any danger of that happening. We have not even had a respnse from them.
