Need help: My phone is detected as a PC on Microsoft Rewards

    1. Hi, I only use my realme 5 phone, but Microsoft Rewards detects it as a PC. I cannot redeem my points. I've cleared my cache and checked my settings. Please help me fix this device detection. Thank you.

    Yeah, this usually happens because the browser is requesting the desktop version of the site, so Microsoft Rewards thinks you’re on a PC even if you’re using your phone.

     

    On your Realme 5, open your browser settings and make sure “Desktop site” is turned off. After that, clear your browser cache again and reopen the Rewards page. You can also try using a different browser like Chrome or Edge to see if it detects your device correctly.

     

    If it still shows as a PC, try logging out and back in, or switch to mobile data instead of WiFi once to refresh the session.

     

    If nothing works, it’s likely a detection issue on Microsoft’s side, and you’ll need to contact Rewards support so they can fix it for your account.
