How does Bing's Points work?

Hi there!

So I use Bing for everything and so I have a decent number of points. When I open up Bing, by my account icon, it says I have over 16,000 points. But when I try to redeem/spend them to buy things, the items in the store only let me select "Set as goal" button and it shows I have 0?
